Sweet Servant

by OnWord Christian Ministries

We know of no one quite like you

And the life you lead in Christ

That is characterized by personal holiness

And daily self sacrifice.

Your heart is undistracted

In your devotion to the Lord

Seen by your faithfulness to others

And abandon to His word.

"It's not about me" is your attitude

And you're content to be in the background

Supplying for the needs of others-

Not a complaint to be found.

Your sincerity to place others before you

Is shown in your actions each day

Ever thinking about how you can help

And by giving your life away.

While others tend to think of their stomachs

Or about their sleep at night

You are a beautiful example

For He is your strength and your true Bread of Life.

You are sweet and fun

And beautiful through and through

No, it isn't about make-up or clothing

But the beauty of Christ that shines through.

Thank you, sweet servant, for the challenge

That your love and your life daily give.

We are humbled to follow as you follow Christ

And grateful to have both servant and friend.
